CCTV condition assessment

High-pressure water jetting

Sewer and stormwater main cleaning using high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) to remove grease accumulations, root intrusion, silt and debris. Jetting is combined with CCTV inspection to confirm the pipe is clear and identify structural defects exposed by the cleaning process.

Root cutting & grease removal

Mechanical root cutting and high-pressure grease removal for recurring blockage locations. We identify root entry points via CCTV and provide options for permanent remediation — chemical root treatment, relining or excavation and repair — to reduce reblocking frequency and ongoing maintenance costs.

Manhole inspection & rehabilitation

Inspection, cleaning and condition assessment of sewer and stormwater manholes. Rehabilitation options include chemical grouting for joint infiltration, epoxy or polyurea lining of corroded benching and invert, and precast ring replacement where structural deterioration is identified.

How do we establish an annual maintenance contract for our council or utility network?
The most straightforward way to establish an annual maintenance contract is to submit a request for proposal (RFP) or request for quotation (RFQ) that outlines your network scope, required services, response time expectations and reporting requirements. We respond to formal RFQ and tender processes and can also provide a capability statement and fee proposal based on a brief scope description. For council procurement officers, we can supply all pre-qualification documentation — QBCC licence, public liability certificate of currency ($20M), Workers Compensation CoC and SWMS templates — as part of our submission. Annual maintenance contracts are typically structured as a schedule of rates with set call-out fees, hourly rates and day rates for scheduled and reactive work. We issue monthly progress claim invoices through Xero and can provide a tailored reporting format aligned to your asset management plan.
What scheduled preventive maintenance programmes do you offer for sewer and stormwater networks?
We offer scheduled preventive maintenance programmes structured to match your network condition data and asset management plan. A typical programme includes a combination of annual or bi-annual CCTV condition assessment of higher-risk pipe segments (older pipes, known blockage histories, high inflow/infiltration risk) and annual high-pressure jetting of grease-prone sections and known root intrusion areas. We programme work to minimise community disruption — combining jetting and CCTV in a single pass using our combo jetter-CCTV units, and scheduling work outside peak traffic periods. At the end of each programme cycle, we provide a network-level condition report with a GIS-mapped defect register, a prioritised works schedule and an updated maintenance backlog that can be used to justify capital renewal funding. Reactive maintenance call-outs within the contracted area are also captured and reported as part of the programme.
What is your emergency response capability for infrastructure failures?
We provide emergency response for civil water and sewer infrastructure failures — sewer overflows, main breaks, pump station failures and blockages posing an immediate public health or environmental risk. Our emergency response capability includes: bypass pumping to contain sewer overflows while the root cause is investigated; emergency high-pressure jetting and CCTV to clear and diagnose blockages; pump station emergency repair for wet well and equipment faults; and emergency excavation and pipe repair where a main has failed. We hold all relevant high-risk work SWMS for confined space entry (manholes), working on live sewer mains and emergency excavation near services. For local government and utility clients, we can establish a contracted emergency response arrangement with agreed response times and documented call-out fee structures. Response documentation — including incident report, site photographs and remediation summary — is provided to the asset manager after each emergency event.
What reporting do you provide for asset managers and council procurement officers?
Our maintenance reporting is structured to give asset managers and council procurement officers the condition evidence they need for financial planning, maintenance scheduling and renewal capital programmes — without having to translate our field data into a format their system can use. Can you manage trenchless rehabilitation for pipes that cannot be accessed by open-cut excavation?
Yes — trenchless rehabilitation is part of our civil maintenance capability. The most common technique used in sewer and stormwater maintenance is cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, in which a resin-saturated felt tube is inserted into the defective host pipe and cured in place to form a structural pipe-within-a-pipe. CIPP lining is used when the host pipe has multiple structural defects spread across its length, when open-cut excavation would be disruptive or costly (under a road, building or services corridor), or when the cost of excavation exceeds the rehabilitation cost. Other trenchless options include pipe bursting (for upsizing the main diameter), spray-applied lining for manholes and structural point repair sleeves for isolated defects.
