A clear, efficient process — so you always know what to expect.

We visit your property and document every plumbing and gas asset — backflow devices, TMVs, hot water systems, drains, fixtures and gas lines — building a full asset register with service due dates.

  2. Custom maintenance schedule

We design a maintenance program around your facility type, compliance obligations and budget. You receive a clear annual schedule with flat-rate pricing for each visit — no surprises.

  3. Automated service reminders

Our job management system automatically schedules and reminds you of upcoming services. You never need to track due dates — we manage the calendar and notify you before each visit.

  4. Scheduled service visits

Our licensed plumbers arrive on time, complete all work on the schedule, and leave your systems certified and operational. Same technician for repeat visits wherever possible.

  5. Digital reports & compliance records

After every visit you receive a digital service report, test certificates and any recommended follow-up work — all stored in your client portal and submitted to relevant authorities where required.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our maintenance plumbing service.

What is included in a preventative maintenance plan?
Plans are customised to your facility but typically include some combination of: backflow prevention device testing and certification, TMV testing and servicing, high-pressure drain jetting, CCTV drain inspection, hot water system servicing, gas safety inspections, and tap and fixture maintenance. We build the plan around your compliance obligations and asset register.
Is TMV testing legally required in Queensland?
Yes — for many commercial and regulated facilities. Under AS/NZS 3500.4, thermostatic mixing valves installed to control scald risk must be regularly serviced and tested. This is mandatory for aged care facilities, childcare centres, hospitals, schools and similar environments. Failure to maintain TMVs can expose facility operators to serious liability in the event of a scalding incident.
How often does backflow prevention need to be tested?
Annual testing is required under the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018 (Qld) for all registered backflow prevention assemblies. Test certificates must be submitted to the relevant water authority (Queensland Urban Utilities, Logan Water, Unitywater, etc.). We track your due dates and submit all required documentation on your behalf.
How much does a preventative maintenance plan cost?
Costs depend on your facility size, the number of assets and the services required. Most commercial clients find that a planned maintenance program costs significantly less per year than a single emergency call-out plus the associated damage or compliance penalties. Contact us for a site audit and flat-rate quote tailored to your property.
Can you take over maintenance from our existing plumber?
Yes. We regularly take over maintenance contracts from other providers. We will conduct a site audit, document all existing assets and compliance status, and build a plan from there — identifying any overdue certifications or outstanding issues at the outset.
Do you service strata and multi-tenancy buildings?
Yes. We work with strata managers, property managers and body corporates to deliver scheduled maintenance across common areas and shared infrastructure — including shared hot water plants, fire service isolation valves, drainage systems and backflow devices.
What industries do you provide maintenance plans for?
We maintain plumbing infrastructure for aged care facilities, childcare centres, schools and universities, retail shopping centres, commercial real estate, property management portfolios, student accommodation, hospitality venues and civil/industrial sites across South-East Queensland.

What's included in a maintenance plan

Every plan is built around your facility's assets and compliance obligations. Services are scheduled at the right frequency — not just billed annually for the sake of it.

Compliance req.

TMV Testing & Servicing

Every 6–12 months

Thermostatic mixing valves are tested, cleaned, calibrated and certified to AS/NZS 3500.4. Mandatory for aged care, childcare, healthcare and many commercial facilities.

Compliance req.

Backflow Prevention Testing

Annually

All registered backflow devices tested to AS/NZS 2845.1, with test certificates submitted to your water authority (Queensland Urban Utilities, Logan Water, etc.).

High-Pressure Drain Jetting

Every 6–12 months

Scheduled high-pressure water jetting clears grease, scale and root intrusion before blockages develop — especially important for commercial kitchens, restaurants and strata.

CCTV Drain Inspection

Annually or post-jetting

Camera inspection of drainage lines to identify root intrusion, pipe damage, sags or scale build-up. Includes a written report and footage — essential for asset management and insurance.

Hot Water System Servicing

Every 1–5 years

Sacrificial anode inspection and replacement, pressure relief valve testing, temperature verification, element condition check. Extends system life and maintains warranty compliance.

Tap, Fixture & Valve Maintenance

Annually

Inspection and servicing of tapware, isolation valves, float valves and cisterns. Identify and fix small drips before they become costly water damage or complaints.

Gas Safety Inspections

Annually

Visual inspection of gas lines, fittings and appliance connections. Pressure testing to identify slow leaks, plus compliance checks for gas appliances under the Gas Supply Act 2003 (Qld).

Water Filter & Softener Servicing

Every 6–12 months

Filter cartridge replacement, housing sanitisation and pressure checks for commercial kitchen, drinking water and whole-of-building filtration systems.

Services marked Compliance req. are mandatory under Queensland law or Australian Standards for regulated facility types.

Prevention vs reactive — the real cost

Emergency call-outs, compliance fines and water damage claims cost far more than the scheduled work that prevents them. The numbers are hard to argue with.
