Compliance & Regulatory Note — New Builds
All new residential and commercial plumbing installations in Queensland must be completed by a QBCC-licensed plumber and drainer. A Certificate of Compliance (Form 9) is required for all notifiable work and must be provided to the building owner before practical completion. Plumbing must comply with the Queensland Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018, AS/NZS 3500 and the National Construction Code (NCC).
