Formal RFQ & tender processes

We respond to written RFQs, formal tenders and expression of interest processes. Our submissions include capability statement, QBCC licence, insurance certificates, relevant project references and fee proposal.

Pre-qualified supplier registration

We can register on your supplier panel or pre-qualification system. We hold current documentation required for most Queensland council and state government pre-qualification processes — QBCC licence, public liability CoC, Workers Compensation CoC, financial statements.

Insurance certificates of currency

Public liability ($20M) and Workers Compensation certificates are available on request at any time. Professional indemnity insurance is available for design-and-construct engagements. All certificates are issued by the insurer directly.

SWMS and WHS documentation

Site-specific Safe Work Method Statements are prepared for all high-risk construction work in accordance with the WHS Act 2011 (QLD). SWMS templates for our common civil plumbing activities — excavation, confined space entry, live main tie-ins, bypass pumping — are available in advance of project commencement.

Progress claim invoicing via Xero

We issue progress claims and invoices through Xero, with PDF and digital delivery. We can accommodate standard head contractor invoice timing requirements and will provide a schedule of values for lump-sum contracts on request.

Pulse Plumbing & Gas holds a current QBCC (Queensland Building and Construction Commission) Contractor Licence covering plumbing and drainage, including civil plumbing works. Our QBCC licence is publicly verifiable on the QBCC licence register. We work in accordance with WSAA standards — WSA 02:2014, WSA 03:2011 and WSA 05:2013 — for sewer and water reticulation, and all work complies with the Queensland Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018 and the relevant parts of AS/NZS 3500. Our team holds current trade licences and high-risk work licences for confined space entry, trenching and civil plumbing activities. Does Pulse Plumbing & Gas carry public liability insurance for civil works?
Yes. Pulse Plumbing & Gas carries public liability insurance to $20 million, which is current for all civil plumbing works including excavation, water main tie-ins, sewer construction and infrastructure maintenance. A certificate of currency (CoC) is available on request at any time for inclusion in tender submissions, pre-qualification packages or head contractor onboarding documentation. We also hold current Workers Compensation insurance through WorkCover Queensland. For design-and-construct engagements, professional indemnity insurance can be arranged where required. Our insurance documentation is provided as a standard part of our pre-qualification package alongside the QBCC licence certificate, capability statement and SWMS templates.

Pulse Plumbing & Gas prepares site-specific Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for all high-risk construction work as required by the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (QLD) and Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011. Our SWMS library covers the high-risk activities common to civil plumbing projects: excavation and trenching, confined space entry (manholes and pits), live water main tie-ins, sewer bypass pumping, asphalt and pavement reinstatement, and traffic management.
