All civil plumbing work is delivered in accordance with applicable Australian Standards, WSAA codes and Queensland legislation. Compliance evidence — hold-point inspection records, material certification, test certificates and as-constructed documentation — is provided as a standard deliverable on every project.
Request compliance documentation →WSA 02:2014 (Sewerage Code), WSA 03:2011 (Water Reticulation Code) and WSA 05:2013 (Conduit Inspection Reporting) govern the design, construction and inspection of water and sewer infrastructure delivered to distributor-retailers in Queensland.
Covers the installation of unplasticised PVC pressure pipe for water supply, applicable to water main reticulation and rising main installation.
Governs the installation of polyethylene pipe for water, gas and drainage — applied to HDPE rising mains, trenchless installations and HDD water main crossings.
The Queensland Development Code mandates part references that apply to plumbing and drainage on development sites, including operational works conditions on development approvals.
Parts 1–5 cover water services, sanitary plumbing, stormwater drainage, heated water services and domestic installations. All civil plumbing work is delivered to the applicable part.
Establishes the licencing framework for plumbing and drainage work in Queensland. All work is carried out by or under the supervision of a QBCC-licensed plumber. Inspection and compliance certificates are provided on completion.
Governs contractor licensing, insurance requirements and standards of work for building and construction in Queensland. Pulse Plumbing & Gas holds a current QBCC Contractor Licence for plumbing and drainage.
Working with civil contractors and councils
We understand the documentation and process requirements of principal contractors, councils and government procurement teams. Our pre-qualification documentation is current and available on short notice — we won't slow down your onboarding or tender timeline.
We participate in formal RFQ, EOI and open tender processes. If you have a procurement deadline, include it in your enquiry and we will prioritise accordingly.
We respond to written RFQs, formal tenders and expression of interest processes. Our submissions include capability statement, QBCC licence, insurance certificates, relevant project references and fee proposal.
We can register on your supplier panel or pre-qualification system. We hold current documentation required for most Queensland council and state government pre-qualification processes — QBCC licence, public liability CoC, Workers Compensation CoC, financial statements.
Public liability ($20M) and Workers Compensation certificates are available on request at any time. Professional indemnity insurance is available for design-and-construct engagements. All certificates are issued by the insurer directly.
Site-specific Safe Work Method Statements are prepared for all high-risk construction work in accordance with the WHS Act 2011 (QLD). SWMS templates for our common civil plumbing activities — excavation, confined space entry, live main tie-ins, bypass pumping — are available in advance of project commencement.
We issue progress claims and invoices through Xero, with PDF and digital delivery. We can accommodate standard head contractor invoice timing requirements and will provide a schedule of values for lump-sum contracts on request.
